Pope Road Kindergarten is a community based, public kindergarten for children 3-5 years, with a Three Year Old Group (20 places) and a rotational model Four Year Old Group. (32 places). The early childhood learning and teaching program is influenced and informed by the research and education project in Reggio Emilia, Italy, with a focus on learning through respectful relationships. We hold strong to an image of children as capable, curious and competent. Learning and teaching with children respects children as co-constructors of meaning and knowledge. The learning program ensures contextual, meaningful experiences to grow children's positive sense of place and belonging to their kindergarten and wider community. Our teaching team is dedicated, experienced and committed to engaging with contemporary teaching and learning practices.

The kindergarten's large and beautiful playground invites children to learn in nature; there's space for water, sand, mud and other play; we have a climbing tree, indigenous gardens, vegetable gardens and more. Our program includes regular local environmental outings, and in our Reconciliation Action Plan hopes and goals are upheld. Pope Road Kindergarten a long history of difference and excellence.
