Child safety is everyone’s responsibility. Council has zero tolerance for abuse, harm or neglect towards children and young people.

Keeping children and young people safe is a shared legal and moral responsibility.

Council is committed to implementing the Victorian Child Safe Standards, which are part of the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005.

We want to make sure that all children and young people who use Council services and facilities are safe and protected.
