Established in 2018, 3133 Chinese Playgroup are a structured community playgroup based in Vermont South Neighbourhood House. It is designed for 1-5 year old preschoolers. Every Friday during school term, there are activities including creative art and craft, morning tea and story and rhyme time conducted in both Mandarin and English. On top of normal structure, 3133 Chinese Playgroup has been introducing creative events, including cooking workshop, children’s fashion show, magic show, toy and book market, yoga session, musical session etc. Celebrations for both traditional Chinese festivals and western festivals are also built into every term to promote cultural diversity among the young generation. Large indoor space and our door play area next to local community cafe, it is not only a play space for young children, but also become a hub for parents and grandparents socializing and connecting.
