As part of our advocacy to SRLA, Council has prepared a document that shows our ‘Vision ( PDF 7.78MB)’ for the public spaces around the Box Hill SRL station.  The designs are based on consultation undertaken in 2023 which helped identify how the community would like the spaces to look and feel.

The Council Vision for the station area focuses on the following spaces that are being redeveloped as part of the Suburban Rail Loop project:
•    Box Hill Mall (Market Street and Main Street)
•    Whitehorse Road Linear Reserve
•    The new promenade that will connect Whitehorse Road to Box Hill Gardens
 

Council has provided its Vision to SRLA and are advocating for it to guide the designs for the station area.
