The City of Whitehorse is home to a number of frog species including the Eastern Banjo Frog which is noted for its “bonk” call, the Striped Marsh Frog the male of which makes a “knock” sound and the Southern Brown Tree Frog where the males of that species make a “weep-weep-weep” call all year around.
