This Lunar New Year, celebrate at Box Hill Central and The Glen Central shopping centres and enjoy a vibrant cultural experience. From 5 February to 4 March 2026, both centres will host a range of free, family-friendly activities in celebration of the Year of the Horse.

Horoscope Readings – Uncover what the Year of the Horse has in store for you in 2026 with a personalised horoscope reading.

Wishing Trees – Write down your hopes for the year ahead and hang them on the wishing tree as a symbol of renewal, optimism and good fortune.

Lightbox Displays – Discover glowing Lightbox lantern displays created by Chinese-Australian artist Chrissy Lau that symbolise hope and guide good fortune throughout Lunar New Year. 

Gold Coin Feature – Experience a powerful symbol of wealth, protection, and good luck this year, with the gold coin representing blessings of prosperity, health, and success for the year ahead.
