The survey provides insights into how our services are performing in comparison to other councils in Victoria, identifying what we’re doing well and areas for improvement.
The Community Satisfaction Survey is conducted annually by an independent market research company, gathering feedback from over 500 randomly selected residents representing a diverse cross-section of our community.
What are some of the key 2025 results?
Like many councils across Victoria, our overall score has slightly declined since 2022.
But we’re listening, and we’re committed to using this feedback to improve our services and better support our community.
We achieved an overall performance score of 63, statistically significantly higher than the State-wide average score of 53 and slightly ahead of the Metropolitan average score of 62.
We rated higher in overall performance, community consultation, waste management, value for money and sealed local roads.
Our community told us that the top 3 things about Whitehorse are:
- Art centres & libraries
- Recreational facilities
- Waste Management
We remain committed to continuous improvement and will use findings from the survey to identify and address areas for further improvement to better serve our community.
