Vermont South Neighbourhood House offers a wide range of educational, recreational and social programs and activities for people of all ages and abilities, and from all walks of life. We also operate a social enterprise café and offer regular and casual room hire for the community.

The Community Cafe is open for food service Mondays to Fridays 9am - 3pm, offering an affordable variety of delicious homestyle sweets and savouries, and a range of hot and cold beverages.

We also have a catering service and provide on the job hospitality training to introduce people to working in this sector.

As a Learn Local Organisation we offer a wide range of subsidised Adult Education courses in Technology, Adult Literacy & Numeracy and Vocational.

Leisure courses are also offered in Health, Fitness and Wellbeing, Art and Craft, Language, General Interest and Children's Activities.

Our Social Activities support building connections and include a Knitting Group, Tablemates, Walking Group, Talking Cafe and our monthly Community Lunches.

Our classes encourage community-based learning and provide support in a friendly and welcoming environment. By participating in our courses, you can learn new things and have fun while building social connections and networks.

Room hire is available on a regular or casual basis. The Function Room has a large capacity and is available for meetings, family gatherings and parties (except teenage and 21st Birthday parties). It is an ideal venue for children's birthday parties!
