Approximately 1400 adults and children attend activities at the Mitcham Community House each week. The house aims to enhance the local community by offering quality affordable opportunities for learning, support, social interaction and personal growth in a warm and friendly environment. Activities are many, affordable and open to all members of the community. The office is open 9.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms. Activities are held during the day, evenings and some weekends.

- Computers
- Children's activities, playgroups and childcare

- English as an additional language
- Volunteering opportunities at the house including: office, committee, fundraising, gardening and more

Registered childcare for parents/carers of children aged 12months to 5. Bookings essential. $45 per child for 3 hours; $75 per child for 5 hours. Parents/caregiver may be eligible for Childcare Subsidy

Playgroups - parents/caregivers and children attend together. Monday or Wednesday, 9.30-11.30am during school terms
