We are looking for people who are passionate about enhancing their local park. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is looking for something meaningful to do in their spare time, is wanting to supplement their studies or someone with specialised environmental knowledge wanting to educate others. 

Whitehorse City Council currently has 12 Parkland Advisory Committees that work to protect and maintain our beautiful parks and reserves. Committees run local working bees, host Committee meetings and work with Council for the improvement of local parkland. 

Volunteering has wide-reaching benefits for people who dedicate their spare time for a cause.  Just a few hours of volunteer work can make a difference to your happiness and mood. Our parkland volunteer groups offer many social benefits too!
