Whitehorse City Council currently has 10 Parkland Advisory Committees that work to protect and maintain our beautiful parks and reserves.
If you are passionate about the environment and are looking for a way to contribute to the importance of our natural environment, then apply to volunteer as a parkland volunteer or Parkland Advisory Committee member. Many Committees have monthly or even weekly working bees, and at least four Committee meetings a year.
We are currently looking for people who are passionate about enhancing their local park. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is looking for something meaningful to do in their spare time, is wanting to supplement their studies or someone with specialised environmental knowledge wanting to educate others.
