The Planning and Environment Act, Section 51 requires all applications received by Council to be available for inspection by the public until a person can no longer seek a review of Council's decision or until the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal determines the application. This documentation can be viewed on the Council website and/or at Council Civic Centre.

Section 197A-E, states that Council must not disclose personal information (provided as part of the application) about an individual who has made an application, unless Council obtains their consent.

If the applicant is a company the obligations under section 197A-E do not apply.

Section 197A-E, states that Council must not publish on its website personal information (provided as part of the application) about an individual who has made an application, unless Council obtains their consent.

In accordance with Section 197A-E of the Planning and Environment Act 1987, Council must still provide information about an individual who has made a planning permit application, submission or objection (including personal information) upon request.
