Cr Ben Stennett has been a Whitehorse resident for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (I.T.) and a Graduate Diploma in Education. A passionate educator, he currently works as a primary school teacher and is actively involved with community organisations, including schools, Rotary, Lions, and Neighbourhood Watch. In his free time, he enjoys playing competitive cricket.

Motivated to be a strong voice for the community, Cr Stennett is committed to ensuring all residents, regardless of age, have a say in decisions that affect them. His key priorities include maintaining financial sustainability, delivering high-quality services, and enhancing Whitehorse’s livability.

Recognising the challenges of population growth, an aging community, and the need for improved sporting facilities, he advocates for protecting neighbourhood character, tree canopies, and green open spaces. Dedicated to taking Whitehorse from good to great, Cr Stennett is focused on fostering a thriving and inclusive community.
