Cr Jarrod Gunn

Cr Jarrod Gunn has been a part of the Vermont South community since 1999. He holds a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Deakin University. He is an active community member with involvement in schools, sports clubs, kindergartens and the Vermont South Neighbourhood House and he is passionate about fostering strong and inclusive communities.

His areas of expertise include community development, sport, volunteering and health and social services. Guided by principles of honesty, sincerity, and putting the community first, Cr Gunn is dedicated to listening, learning, and advocating for residents.

His key priorities include meaningful community engagement, improving access to and utilisation of community infrastructure (including buildings, grounds, cycling and walking paths) and pragmatic management and protection of our treescapes. He is committed to forward planning whilst ensuring Whitehorse remains a vibrant, sustainable, and connected community.
