Personal Background
I first moved to Whitehorse in 1999 just prior to the birth of my first son. I have three sons and a loving and supportive wife. My wife’s family have lived in Vermont South since the early 80’s. I have a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor of Applied Science both through Deakin University.
What motivated you to run for Council?
I am an active community member involved in schools, sports clubs and the Vermont South Neighborhood House. I have always preferred to get involved and help set the agenda, tone and expectations rather than be determined by them.

- Competing demands from community and State and Federal government.
- Changing climate and increasing severe weather events.
