What will you bring?

About the role

Through your leadership, the Community Engagement & Development team will deliver practical support to both the Working4Victoria team and to the Whitehorse community as a whole. You will be managing a small team who will provide outreach and support to the local community. 

What will you deliver?

  • Provide support to senior managers in supporting the community to manage and recover from the impacts of COVID
  • Development and implementation of effective communication strategies
  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Working4Victoria related projects

About the role

As a part of the Strategic Marketing team, you will provide technical and strategic advice that allows Council to effectively engage with the community. In developing sophisticated, reliable and accessible information regarding online events, you will play a key role in keeping our community linked through these unusual times. 

You will be expected to deliver intelligence regarding licensing, platforms, intellectual property, social media, recording, ticketing and production. A self-starter, you’re not afraid to question the status quo.

  • Create online events that are well targeted, accessible and appropriate for the target audience

About the role

Operating within our Parks and Natural Environment team, you will play a key role in transitioning our sporting ovals in preparation for summer sports and activities, as well as maintaining our ovals activity spaces to our usual high standards. 

What will you deliver?

  • Preparation, maintenance and monitoring of sporting ovals and surrounds
  • Safe operation of a variety of plant and equipment

  • Timely and efficient scheduling of any routine maintenance works

  • Trade certificate or relevant experience in Turf Maintenance
  • A knowledge of maintaining Irrigation Systems an advantage
