If you decide to lodge a request for pre-application, you will need to submit all supporting documentation at the time of lodgement for us to be able to undertake a preliminary review of your proposal. For further information on what type of documentation is required refer to Pre-application types and cost. Once we receive the request we will:
Undertake a preliminary review
- We will undertake a preliminary review of the documentation submitted.
Organise a discussion with you
- We will discuss and review the documentation submitted with you, recommend proposed changes and discuss any issues that have been identified either via phone or a meeting depending on the complexity of the application. This is at the discretion of the planner.
Provide written advice
- We will provide you with a copy of the planner’s notes after the pre-application discussion has occurred.
Please Note:
- If you wish additional documentation to be reviewed, a subsequent request (and paid for) will be required to be lodged.
- No refunds will be issued due to lack of information being submitted for review.
- Advice is preliminary in nature to provide initial feedback and identify key issues that may need to be addressed. There is no guarantee of approval based on pre-application advice.
- A full planning permit is required to be lodged and will be assessed on its merits.
