Strains of the Heart is an a cappella musical that follows Daniel, Michelle and their young daughter Bella as life takes an unexpected turn. Distance, uncertainty and the passage of time test the bonds they once took for granted, while friendship arrives in surprising ways through Tom, whose quiet kindness brings both comfort and difficult choices.

Featuring beloved songs performed by the Melbournaires Harmony Chorus, Vocal Infusion, A Cappella Fellas, Chordite, and quartets Boardwalk, Go Fish! and Crystal Sound, this moving and family-friendly production explores love in all its forms: romantic love, parental devotion, friendship, sacrifice and forgiveness.
