WHO ARE WE?
A gathering place for friends and regular visitors of Gardiners Creek Reserve in Burwood, next to Deakin. Whether you love the bike trail, go spotting for tawny frogmouths or just enjoy the bush environment with your family and dog, let's celebrate our Local Park and work together to keep it beautiful.

WHAT DO WE DO?
• We look after the Reserve.
We plant native plants to encourage the return of local birds and wildlife. Together with the major stakeholders, we are working as part of Councils Urban Forest Strategy 5 Year project, which commenced at the Kilsyth Ave entrance, incorporates Fletcher Parade planting and continues along the Creek, all to help maintain the natural context of the Reserve. We also host “Clean Up Australia Day” events each year.
• We look after the people who come here.
We organise an annual Meet the Pets Day where locals with dogs and “in residence international and intrastate Deakin students” come together in the park.
We arrange for our Reserve to be involved in local planning decisions.

WHAT ARE WE PLANNNING TO DO?
• Promote Gardiners Creek Reserve.
We want to keep revegetating our Reserve, recognising it is an important corridor for native wildlife and fauna.
