Box Hill Jiu Jitsu Inc. (BHJJ) holds martial arts classes that cover striking, locking, throwing, and wrestling techniques, which are aimed at providing individuals with a foundation of self defence techniques.

BHJJ is a not-for-profit organisation that is run by volunteers for the benefit of its members. We are located at Aqualink, Surrey Drive, Box Hill, Victoria​. Our club (dojo) is a member of the Australian Jujitsu Federation, AJF, and our black-belt instructors (sensei) are AJF-accredited coaches.

We teach a modern form of the Japanese martial art of jiu jitsu to three age groups: -

Little Legends (6–10 years) on Saturdays, 1:00–2:00 pm, $17.50
[NOTE: Classes are held during school term only and cost on a per class basis]

Bushi (11–15 years) on Wednesdays, 6:30–8:00 pm & Saturdays, 2:00–3:30 pm, $20 per 90-min. class

Samurai 16+ years) on Wednesdays, 7:00–9:00 pm & Saturdays, 3:00–5:00 pm, $20 per 2-hour class

[NOTE: During school holidays, when there are no Little Legends classes on Saturdays, we hold combined classes for Bushi & Samurai on both Wednesday evenings (7:00–9:00 pm) and Saturday afternoons (2:00–5:00 pm)]
