Tang has worked for Whitehorse for over 30 years, Tang brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a Tai Chi instructor at both of our Aqualink centres.
Beginning as a lifeguard for Aqualink in the 1990’s, Tang has become an integral part of our community. Immigrating form China in 1989, he brought with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in health and wellness.
Tang's journey into the realm of martial arts began at the age of seven, building a successful career as a professional Wushu Chinese Martial Arts athlete.
Upon retiring from competitive endeavours, he transitioned into coaching elite athletes in the art. His skill and expertise even led him to collaborate with Marvel, where he contributed to the choreography of fight scenes.
Today he continues guides a beautiful community of people through the slow and thoughtful art of Tai Chi at Aqualink.

Having witnessed the positive impact of Tai Chi on his life, Tang is resolute in his mission to extend its benefits. His role goes beyond instruction; it involves fostering a sense of community and championing a holistic approach to health.
