Creating a Pollinator Pot + Nursery Tour!

Learn about the vital role of pollinators and how to support bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects, even in small spaces.

Create your own pollinator-friendly pot using plants that provide year-round food and habitat, and enjoy a guided tour of the nursery to learn about indigenous plants, habitat gardening and ways to build biodiversity in urban environments.

Creating a Pollinator Pot + Nursery Tour! (Mandarin Session) // 制作授粉昆虫友好花盆+苗圃参观!

欢迎参加在 Greenlink Nursery 举办的“授粉昆虫花盆工作坊与苗圃参观”活动。在这里,你将了解授粉昆虫(如蜜蜂、蝴蝶等)在生态系统中的重要作用,并学习如何在阳台、小庭院甚至有限空间中,为它们提供食物与栖息环境。

活动中,大家将亲手制作一个适合授粉昆虫的小花盆,选择有助于吸引与支持昆虫的植物。我们也会一起参观苗圃,了解本地原生植物以及如何在城市环境中打造更有生物多样性的绿色空间。

Walk in Her Shoes: an evening on homelessness and hope

Nearly 60% of people coming to Victorian homelessness services last year were women.

Walk in Her Shoes follows the journeys of three of these women, to understand more about what it's like to navigate homelessness and housing insecurity.

Water Wise Gardening

As the climate changes we need to take even more care with how we capture, store, divert and use water efficiently in our gardens. Presented by Sustainable Gardening Australia, this workshop will help both you and your garden to become more waterwise.

Topics covered include soil care, mulching, plant selection, capturing rainwater and water smart technologies.

Zero Waste Gardening with The Urban Nanna

Join permaculture and sustainability educator, Anna The Urban Nanna, for a hands-on presentation-workshop where you’ll learn about frugal, waste-savvy ways to access healthy soil, plants, seeds, fertiliser and mulch. Then have a go at making some upcycled items to use around the garden.
