Items Accepted at a Charge

The fees for the Whitehorse Recycling and Waste Centre are reviewed annually as part of the budget process. The fees are set with consideration to the State Government’s annual landfill levy and other factors. Details of the fees are noted below.

Prices are effective from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. All prices are inclusive of the State Government landfill levy and GST. All vehicles are subject to weighing and prices are subject to change without notice.

Methods of payment include cash, eftpos, credit card (point of sale only) and account facilities. The Centre does not accept American Express or cheques.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The business / company, mentioned above applies for a credit account with the Whitehorse City Council for the use of services at the Recycling and Waste Centre (Cnr Burwood Hwy and Morack Rd Vermont Sth) and agrees to the following conditions:

A Minimum of $100 per month will be required to be spent on tipping to maintain account facilities at the centre. This cost will be averaged over a three month period.

All cost charges, fees, and expenses incurred by the Whitehorse City Council including but not limited to administrative costs, debt collects agency fees and legal costs and expenses will be met by the company for non-payment of account.

Council reserves the right to increase fees and charges without notice.

Payment terms 30 days from end of invoice month.
