We’re looking for passionate community members to join our 2026 Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee. As a volunteer member, you’ll meet 6 times per year (for 1.5 hours each time) to discuss local sport and recreation priorities, share your ideas, and help guide positive change in our community.

We’re keen to hear from people who are:

• passionate about sport, recreation, and community wellbeing
• keen to represent their club, community group, or local area
• interested in helping shape the selection of Whitehorse’s annual Sport and Recreation Award winners
• from all walks of life, we strongly encourage applications from women, men, people with disabilities, First Nations people, and LGBTQIA+ community members.

You must be a Whitehorse resident or a member of a Whitehorse sporting club to be eligible to join. There are 5 positions available.
