March is an exciting month for sport in Vermont South with two venues opening new facilities!

Council’s redevelopment of Morack Public Golf is complete and a grand opening weekend celebration will be held on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March.

Along with usual bookings across the 18-hole golf course and the brand new mini golf and driving range, plenty of fun activities are planned to celebrate this exciting occasion!

Meanwhile, the new multipurpose pavilion at the Vermont South Club is set to be handed over to the club this month.

The project has been funded by Council, the Federal Government and the club, which offers tennis, lawn bowls and darts.

The building has been expanded to include new facilities for social activities, floor to ceiling windows for views of the bowling green, a new club meeting room and toilets.

A grand opening celebration is planned for mid-April, and it will be available to the community to hire for private or corporate events.
