The Eastern Regional Trails Working Group is pleased to launch the Melbourne to Warburton Trail Map, an online interactive map that will guide trail users accessing the Melbourne to Warburton Trail.

The Melbourne to Warburton Trail is a 105-kilometre multi-use trail, stretching from the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, winding through the eastern suburbs and townships to Warburton, via the scenic Yarra Valley.

The trail is accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and, in some sections, horse riders, connecting people to some of Australia’s finest cultural experiences, hospitality venues and tourism destinations.

Key destinations along the trail include Federation Square, Birrarung Marr, the MCG and Melbourne Park precincts, Abbotsford Convent, Collingwood Children’s Farm, Studley Park Boathouse, Fairfield Boathouse, Mullum Mullum Creek, Lillydale Lake, Seville Water Play Park, Wesburn Park Pump Track and Warburton Water World.

The Melbourne to Warburton Trail provides important local connections, linking people to schools, community services and regional destinations, and providing valuable opportunities for outdoor recreation, nature connection and active transport.

The highly interactive Melbourne to Warburton Trail Map is a wonderful resource for trail users when planning a journey along the trail, providing valuable information about nearby destinations and trail facilities, including connecting trails, car parking, bike repair stations, playgrounds, public amenities and emergency facilities.

The Melbourne to Warburton Trail Map will build community confidence when accessing the regional trail network, encouraging more people to get outside, explore Melbourne and the Yarra Valley using active transport.

The Melbourne to Warburton Trail Map provides councils, business and industry bodies a new tool to promote the trail in its entirety; encouraging visitation, supporting local business and creating local jobs.
