If you are experiencing financial difficulties and are not able to pay your fine by the due date, you may be eligible for a payment arrangement, which includes an extension of time or paying your fine in instalments.
Council only offers an extension of time as a payment arrangement while Fines Victoria offers either payment instalments or a payment extension of time to pay one or more fines.
If you are eligible for a payment arrangement, you may be able to combine your outstanding fines into a single payment arrangement.
The Infringements Act 2006 states that only specific people are eligible to apply for a fine payment arrangement.

Fines Victoria Work and Development Permit (WDP)
You may be eligible for the WDP which is an initiative to provide vulnerable and disadvantaged people with a non-financial option to address their fine debt. A WDP allows an eligible person to work off their fine debt by participating in certain activities and treatment.
