For some vehicle-related fines, you can nominate the driver or company in control of the vehicle at the time the fine was issued so we can reissue the fine to them. Vehicle-related fines include:
- Parking fines
- Local Laws fines for parking on a Council reserve
- Environment Protection Act 2017 waste infringements associated with a vehicle
You can also check any photos the Council Officer took when they issued the fine which may help you identify the correct driver.
If, after reviewing the fine photos, you think that you were the driver at the time, you can either request a fine review or pay the fine.

Additional Information
- You cannot nominate another person or company as being responsible for a non-vehicle-related fine
- If the fine cannot be served on the nominated driver, the fine will revert back to the registered owner of the vehicle
- All nomination details must be completed for a nomination to be considered.
