At a recent Council Meeting, Councillors were appointed to each of our advisory committees and groups for the coming year. 

Advisory Committees have been reviewed to align with our Council Plan and Community Vision. Newly established committees include: the Community Safety Crime Prevention Committee and the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan (MPHWP) Steering Committee. 

All our advisory groups and committees meet regularly throughout the year and are made up of community members, Councillors and council officers. Each group aims to support decision making and implementation of plans and procedures of council in their relevant field.
