Whitehorse City Council is committed to actively promoting gender equality in our workforce and in the broader Whitehorse Community.
In support of the Gender Equality Act 2020, Council holds itself accountable through the implementation of the strategies and actions identified in our 2022-2026 Gender Equality Action Plan [GEAP].
Gender Equality Action Plan 2022 – 2026
The Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector has completed a review of Council’s Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) for compliance with the Gender Equality Act 2020, and have advised that our GEAP meets the requirements for compliance under the Act.
Whitehorse City Council Gender Equality Action Plan 2022–2026 outlines key gender equality insights, and the positive actions that we are committed to driving forward over the life of this plan, in pursuit of improved gender equality.
