Citizen Science Champions
Are you looking to engage your students in a scientific project that contributes to professional research? Citizen Science brings everyday people and professional scientists together by linking observations made by the public, to the researchers that want to know about them. Citizen Science is valuable in contributing to data that scientists cannot gather alone and makes science accessible and fun to all. Citizen Science is also a great way to engage students in science and environmental stewardship that continues beyond an excursion.
'Citizen Science Champions' can be incorporated into the above listed excursions or explored as a stand-alone topic.
