Whitehorse City Council has three Early Childhood Education and Care Centres offering Long Day Care and Funded Kindergarten education.

Box Hill Institute is a leading Victorian vocational and higher education provider. It offers a wide variety of courses from apprenticeships to degrees and short courses to diplomas.
University of the 3rd Age (U3A) is a voluntary community organisation which supports positive ageing by providing low-cost learning opportunities and social interaction for retired and semi-retired members of the community to encourage them to stay active and engaged. It is located at the Nunawading Community Hub.
