Achieve a zero-waste home with this great workshop

5 Jul 2018

The next session in Council’s Smarter Living Workshop series will show participants how to work toward and achieve a zero-waste home.

Whitehorse Councillor Denise Massoud said workshop presenter Tammy Logan, curator of a popular Victorian blog full of advice and practical ideas on the topic, will share her expertise in creating a zero-waste home.

“This topic is catching the public imagination as the ‘war on waste’ movement gains momentum. Zero-waste living is do-able with commitment and know-how and Tammy will inspire participants to embrace a new way of approaching household waste,” Cr Massoud said.

Tammy started her journey by completing Plastic Free July and has grown that experience to taking on all aspects of low-waste living.

The Smarter Living workshop series is collaboration between Whitehorse City Council and Manningham Council.
