Whitehorse Council has introduced a new online grants application system SmartyGrants and is holding two information sessions to help people use the system.
SmartyGrants is an electronic grants submission system used by many local governments and other funding bodies. It provides an efficient way for you to submit your application online, and replaces our previous paper based system.
Whitehorse Mayor Councillor Bill Bennett encouraged people to attend an information session.
“The sessions will provide an overview of the SmartyGrants system as well as provide opportunities to discuss your project with Council staff and receive advice to maximise your chances of success,” Cr Bennett said.
“Now is the time to start thinking about your projects so you are ready to go when applications open in March.”
Grant applications for 2019 open on 4 March.
Information sessions will be held on Wednesday 6 March at 1pm and 6pm. Registrations are essential and can be made via www.whitehorse.vic.gov.au/Community-Grants.html
